At Solis Dentistry, we utilize modern medications to help patients relax during dental procedures by offering two forms of sedation: Nitrous and oral sedation. Sedation helps you manage any anxiety or stress you may be feeling while we help maintain your oral health.
A mild sedative used to safely and effectively manage pain and anxiety during dental treatment.
Nitrous Oxide (N2O) is an odorless and colorless sedative we mix with Oxygen as you inhale through a small mask that fits over your nose.
Also known as pill sedation is an alternative to using nitrous for sedation purposes.
The oral sedative is a type of Benzodiazepine (i.e., Valium, Halcion, Xanax), which decreases activity in the parts of the brain that control fear and anxiety.
